Membership

Membership in the Multihazard Mitigation Council (MMC) of the National Institute of Building Sciences shows that you are concerned about protecting our nation against increasingly severe disasters as well as reducing their cost to society. MMC reflects the interests of all those public and private sector entities involved with building and non-building structures and holds a unique position as a non-governmental, non-profit organization that can bring together these diverse groups.

Organizational and Affiliate memberships are available. Non-profit organizations and government agencies interested in the goals of the Council can apply for organizational membership. Companies and other organizations interested in the work of the MMC and who wish to be informed of the activities may apply for affiliate membership.
