Aleisha Khan joined the Refrigerant Emissions Elimination Forum (REEF) in 2025 as its Executive Director. REEF supports building owner-operators in managing their total cost of ownership and GHG impact though refrigerant management and is a leading voice in transforming the market toward zero climate impact from refrigerants. Ms. Khan has spent almost 30 years on international solutions to climate issues primarily related to buildings and energy use. In the U.S., she supported the design and roll-out of early energy efficiency programs, including ENERGY STAR, integrated commissioning into state programs, and led advocacy on codes and standards. Aleisha has a master’s in architecture from the University of Illinois, and a master’s in natural resource economics and policy from Duke University.
