Russ Wilcox is the Founder and CEO of ArtifexAI, a company leveraging artificial intelligence for municipal intelligence and sustainable urban development. With over 16 years of experience in machine learning, NLP, and data science, Russ began his career at the U.S. Geological Survey at age 16 and was first published by 17. A published analyst on global AI and technology strategy, his work has appeared in The Diplomat and The Jamestown Foundation’s China Brief. He has advised senior defense and diplomatic leadership on AI policy, briefed members of Congress, served as a UN Civil Society Delegate, and chairs the Policy Committee of the American Society for AI. A World Economic Forum speaker and multiple-time Forbes feature, he holds an a degree in Physics with Honors and an Advanced Reinforcement Learning certification from MIT and has served as an expert witness on Big Data in federal court proceedings.
