Stephanie Stubbs, Assoc. AIA, PMP, has served as a Director for the National Institute of Building Sciences in Washington, DC, since 2009, and her current title is Director of Facility Lifecycle Management. She manages projects for a number of federal agencies, including the General Services Administration, as well as NIBS councils and joint research ventures with the AIA, such as the BRIK research portal and the Building Enclosure Councils network. Prior to joining NIBS, she worked for the American Institute of Architects for almost 30 years, serving as researcher and project manager for the AIA Research Corporation, technical editor for Architectural Technology magazine, and then as managing editor for AIArchitect newspaper and Architecture magazine. Stephanie earned her BA in Environmental Design and Master of Architecture from SUNY @ Buffalo.
