NIBS
Stephanie Sneary is a BIM Manager with the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations. She has contributed to the OBO BIM Standards program since 2022. She is a licensed architect with over 20 years’ experience in the AEC industry, having worked in architecture and transportation.
Prior to joining NIBS, she worked as an architect in the private sector, leading new construction and urban infill projects in and around Washington, DC. During her career she has also served a three-year term as a member of the Reston Planning and Zoning Committee, volunteered as board member and architectural advisor to Historic Pleasant Grove Church in McLean, VA, and is a current member of an active an active Toastmasters chapter.
Established by the United States Congress, NIBS’ mission is to serve the public interest by advancing building science and technology to improve the built environment.
