Josh Shumaker

Josh Shumaker is Director of Policy Research and Industry Relations with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in Washington, DC. In this role, Josh leads ASCE’s policy-based work including oversight of the highly regarded Report Card for America’s Infrastructure. Prior to ASCE, he managed federal affairs for national associations engaged in economic, community, and housing development. Josh also serves on boards and commissions dedicated to economic and housing issues in Fairfax County, Virginia. Originally from Tennessee, he holds degrees from Wofford College and the University of Memphis.
