As a Senior Associate, Julia applies her background in knowledge management and expertise in building science to support NIBS’ Project Delivery team through the implementation of process improvements and management of federal projects.
In her previous role with D+R International, Julia worked to accelerate the adoption of emerging, energy efficient technologies in commercial buildings through stakeholder engagement, data analytics, and workforce training. As a project manager, Julia helped finalize the criteria for ENERGY STAR WDS Version 7.0 and produced technology-specific savings analyses to inform program design for Bonneville Power Administration. She also led the streamlining and templatization of D+R’s internal project management, business development, and quality control processes.
Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of South Carolina, where she researched the effectiveness of varying water and sanitation pricing structures in the Middle East & North Africa, South Asia, and rural United States.
