Eric Rawdon, PE, PMP is the Director of Programs and Services with the National Institute of Building Sciences, providing strategic leadership for complex infrastructure initiatives that advance resilience, sustainability, and performance across the built environment.

Eric brings more than 15 years of experience overseeing large, multidisciplinary programs spanning water, sanitation, energy, buildings, transportation, and industrial infrastructure in the United States and internationally. Eric thrives on complex projects, from rural water systems in Tajikistan to state-of-the-art $200M+ bioenergy facilities in the US, successfully leading teams in challenging geopolitical, technological, or resource-constrained environments.  He held senior leadership roles with USAID as the regional engineer responsible for all construction activity across five countries and within Stantec’s Alternative Project Deliver team, responsible for providing quality standards, lessons learned, and supporting the startup of the most complicated projects within the company’s portfolio.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Stanford University.
