Michael McWhirter, P.M.P, DBA., is the Water Market Leader at V3 Companies, where he provides strategic leadership on planning, design, and delivery of critical water and wastewater infrastructure for public agencies across the United States and Canada. With over 25 of engineering experience, Michael has supported communities in addressing aging infrastructure, resilience, regulatory compliance, and long‑term capital investment challenges. His work spans water supply, treatment, conveyance, and utility capital improvement programs, with a strong emphasis on integrated planning, lifecycle thinking, and collaborative delivery. Michael had first hand disaster response experience leading a large program for the American Red Cross after the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami. Michael regularly advises clients on prioritizing investments, managing risk, and aligning infrastructure decisions with community resilience and operational realities.
