Kyle Barry, PMP, is the Director of Project Management Operations at NIBS. In this role, he oversees the organization’s project portfolio and governance frameworks to ensure that all projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and in alignment with federal and industry standards. Previously, he served as the Director of the Whole Building Design Guide, providing strategic leadership and oversight for the world’s premier web-based portal for building science guidance and criteria. He has also managed programs and projects for a number of Federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Energy Federal Energy Management Program, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the Department of War. Prior to joining NIBS, he served as the Program Director for the Building Energy Solutions Division at Energetics Incorporated, where he supported the U.S. Department of Energy Building Technologies Office. He holds a Master of Public Policy from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University and a BA in Political Science and Economics from Loyola University Maryland.
